Brighton Digital Festival

We were involved in a pitch for the Brighton Digital Festival identity. Unfortunately they decided against our design, but we felt the work was too strong to be left languishing in the dark recesses of our Macs and wanted to share the work.

The identity took its inspiration from the multitude of colours visible on the front of Brighton & Hove beach huts. From this analogue source we created a digital pattern which changed and morphed according to its use. This allowed us to represent Brighton in a thoroughly modern way while still linking to an iconic element of the city. This identity is shown applied across various channels with consistent look and feel whilst also reflecting the evolving digital world.
